1. Packaged milk
Fresh milk is definitely a very healthy and delicious product. But what about milk poured into a vat from thousands of different cows, some of which could carry diseases? Or even worse, the dehydrated milk. Oh yeah, that’ll hit the spot.
2. Potato chips
To be honest, this delicious product from hell deserves its own article. Each pack of crispy, salty snacks contains a huge amount of preservatives, trans fats, artificial flavors, and other amazing additions to your daily diet.
3. Artificial sweeteners
Sugar in large quantities is, of course, bad. But all the sweeteners you are using to replace it are even worse. They have long been known to cause metabolic syndrome with type 2 diabetes and heart problems.
4. Microwave popcorn
Have you ever looked inside a pack of popcorn before nuking it in the microwave? If you have, you saw a mixture of some unknown oil, dye, and flavorings. That’s what you’re eating in addition to the kernels. So, don’t be lazy and fry your popcorn in a pan, like a civilized human being.
5. Fried foods

6. Store-bought fruits
Avoid buying apples, grapes, and strawberries in big stores, especially those brought from abroad, as they are very likely to be covered with pesticides. Plus, they quite often lend themselves to additional processing with chemicals during transportation from far away. Some of the nasty stuff can be removed by thoroughly washing the fruits, but the rest goes straight into your gullet.
7. Hot dogs
Do you know how these mushy wieners are made? We’ve all seen that one video either in school or on YouTube. In addition to a large amount of trans fats, there are probably byproducts that you would never even be able to look at without gagging. And all kinds of chemical food additives wonderfully mask their taste and smell. Eating too many hot-dogs will certainly lead to a whole slew of gastrointestinal diseases, obesity, atherosclerosis, and cardiovascular diseases. In short, stop eating hot-dogs!
8. Baked desserts
These morsels are pleasing to the eye and make you drool like a dog when you seem in the store. But they’re a real nightmare for your teeth, your heart, and your love handles. They’re called muffin-tops for a reason, you know?
9. Sausage and ham
Very often, meat and fish in factories are smoked using liquid smoke rather than wood shavings. So, in addition to the bad fats and heartburn, you also get a full dose of carcinogens. Yay, more cancer!
